In the morning of Wednesday 7th September 2016, national and international authorities, scientists, businessmen and industrials gathered in the Office des Changes fairground in Casablanca (Morocco) on the occasion of the official opening of the Ssecond edition of the International Photovoltaic Exhibition & Conference: Photovoltaïca under the theme » Integration of Photovoltaics « .
The opening ceremony was attended by the Moroccan Minister of Energy, Dr. Abdelkader AMARA; Mr. Mustapha BAKKOURY, CEO MASEN, S.E.M Saeed AL TAYER, CEO DEWA (Emirates), Mr. Mohammed Abunayyan, Chairman of ACWA Power (KSA), Mr. Francesco Venturini, CEO of Enel Green Power, Mr. Jorge Seguro, state secretary of energy of Portugal, and Mr. Malick alhousseini, Minister of energy and water in Mali.
This ceremony was the chosen frame to proceed to the signing of 4 agreements between the SIE and important groups such as IRESEN – First Solar, KIWA, OLEA , GIZ, UMS , FST Beni Mellal …
The Conference was structured in 6 panels that focused on the PV sector and on the different issues currently in need of answers as well as on the new technologies existing in the present market.
